Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine

On June 8th 2012 Poland will become the first Eastern European nation to host a major football tournament. The Euro 2012 tournament is being jointly held by Poland and Ukraine and is the first time such a major footballing event will be held behind the former iron curtain.

The opening game will be held in Poland at the Warsaw stadium whilst the final itself will be held in Kiev, Ukraine.
